As the primary digital gateway to the Ethereum ecosystem, ethereum.org serves millions of visitors monthly in over 50 languages. Our focus was on creating an accessible, educational platform that helps users understand and engage with Ethereum technology.

Working with a global community presented unique challenges, particularly in managing content across multiple languages and ensuring consistency across translations. This collaborative approach, while more challenging, led to richer and more inclusive solutions that better served our users.

Key achievements included redesigning core sections of the website, implementing a multilingual navigation system, and creating educational content that makes complex blockchain concepts more approachable. Each decision was made through community consensus, which though time-intensive, resulted in more robust and well-vetted solutions.

A crucial part of scaling our design efforts was developing a comprehensive design system. This system needed to be flexible enough to accommodate our open-source nature while maintaining consistency across the platform.

Working with an open-source community required a different approach to design. We established processes for community contributions, feedback channels, and collaborative decision-making.

This included managing translation initiatives across 50+ languages and coordinating with hundreds of contributors worldwide to maintain and improve the platform.

ETHproofs Application

ETHproofs represented an opportunity to apply our design principles to a new challenge. We helped create an intuitive interface for a complex technical tool, making it accessible to a broader audience.

The project showcased our ability to balance technical requirements with user experience, resulting in a tool that serves both developers and non-technical users effectively.
